Literature of Mario Vargas Llosa, works by Jorge Luis Borges with a mathematical component, applied linguistics, intersections between philosophy and literature.

Born and raised in Lima, Peru.

Current Research

Dr. Luna-Escudero-Alie is working with a Math professor (Stephen Kcenich) in an interdisciplinary book about Jorge Luis Borges's texts which have a mathematical content. They have published already 6 interdisciplinary articles about Borges and mathematics.

Education

She has degrees in Philosophy, Literature, and Linguistics from La Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Her PhD is from Georgetown University in Iberian-American Literature and Culture, with a minor on Applied Linguistics. Her dissertation was: "La estructura temporal en el teatro de Mario Vargas Llosa".
