Spanish and Latin/Hispanic culture, food, music and politics are on the top of my list of passions in life. Having completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico, I continued my educational journey at George Mason University, where I received a Masters in Spanish/Bilingual Multicultural Education. Currently, I teach at GMU, NVCC, and FCPS. My experience as a former journalist, and editor in Puerto Rico, and education columnist in a Spanish news wire service, in Washington D.C., has broaden my world vision and my pedagogical approach in the classroom.
