Global Affairs
Foreign languages are the windows to other cultures, and the language skills you're developing are also cultural ones. By majoring in Arabic, Chinese, French, or Spanish, you're already demonstrating that you are knowledgeable about other cultures and enthusiastic about learning them. A minor in global affairs will provide additional perspectives from which to learn about international cultures and their interconnectedness through processes of globalization. This broader theoretical understanding combined with your particular linguistic and cultural knowledge make an excellent combination and will enhance your resume for work for a range of organizations in the private and/or public sector.
