Little Forest portrays the experience of a young woman who is exhausted and worn-out from the competitive urban life and returns to a pastoral hometown. Adapting a Japanese manga series of the same title, Director Lim Soon-rye, one of few leading female filmmakers in Korea, captures beautiful and healing moments of changing seasons, animals, the intimate relationship, and foods including the Korean rice cake and makgeolli.
