Introduces major work of poetry and themes, meters, and poetic techniques. Emphasizes interpretation, metrical and stylistic analysis, and poet's role in society. Topics and authors vary. Notes: Readings in Latin. May be repeated when topic is different. May be repeated within the degree for a maximum 6 credits.
Recommended Prerequisite: LATN 202 or equivalent.
