Introduces history, culture, and literature of Greece and Rome through close readings of central passages from classical literature dealing with some of the most important aspects of human existence. Illustrates importance of classical antiquity for the Western tradition. Notes: Coursework in English. Limited to three attempts.
Recommended Prerequisite: ENGH 101 or equivalent or permission of instructor.
