The Martha Paley Francescato Scholarship is a $400 award to an undergraduate student applying for a study abroad program and pursuing a degree in Spanish. Applicants should submit an essay stating why they need additional funds for study abroad and detailing their commitment to the Spanish program.
Essays may be written in either English or Spanish. To apply, email your essay (as an attachment) to language@gmu.edu by Monday April 4, 2016 at 5 pm. Include your full name, class (i.e., junior, senior, etc), degrees being pursued (majors and minors), the study abroad program you plan to attend, and your current GPA.
