Dr. Hashim Al-Tawil, Professor of Art History at Henry Ford College, to Present at Mason on October 30, as Part of the Arab Culture Day

Mason's first ever Arab Culture Day will take place on October 30. This celebration of Arabic culture, education, food and fun will begin at noon in the tent on the JC North Plaza, with Arab calligraphy, Henna tattoo, Arabic name writing and Moroccan tea. It will be followed by a lecture and discussion led by Dr. Hashim al–Tawil
“Arab Visual Culture: Past and Present”, in 1201 Merten Hall at 4:30. The day of celebration will conclude in Dewberry Hall, beginnig at 7:00pm, with the Arab Variety Show: music, Arabic Students Got Talent, Arabic food and a fashion show.
