The Conference on Language, Learning, and Culture (CLLC), hosted by Virginia International University's School of Education (April 11-12, 2014), will award Dr. Jennifer Leeman an Award for Praxis for her dedication to the fields of applied linguistics, sociolinguistics, and language education and contribution to innovations and social action at the intersection of language, learning and culture, the theme of this year's conference. Dr. Leeman will receive the award during the closing ceremonies on April 11.
