A free webinar on the critical implementation of artificial intelligence in the Spanish language classroom took place on Tuesday, May 5, at 1:00 PM online, delivered by Prof. Román Mendoza and organized by Edinumen Publishers.
The webinar addressed the ways in which digital tools shape language education and affect educational communities unevenly, touching on issues of resource consumption, access gaps, ethical dilemmas, and representational bias. The goal was to empower educators and students alike to use generative AI in ways that contribute to social transformation and a sustainable future, both inside and outside the classroom. The session was conducted in Spanish.
