Kristina Olson, Associate Professor of Italian, has been appointed as the new Editor-in-Chief of Dante Studies, the peer-reviewed and top tier journal of Dante Studies in North America.
Founded in 1882, Dante Studies is the premier journal devoted to Dante in the English-speaking world, and is published by Johns Hopkins University Press.
Dante Studies is the journal of the Dante Society of America, one of the oldest academic societies in America.
In addition to this great achievement, Olson will be the first woman editor of the journal since the society’s inception. The first volume under her editorship will be Volume 142 (2024).
