2018 Immersive language program in Ecuador

Over Winter Break 2018, nineteen George Mason University students traveled to Quito, Ecuador to study Spanish at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ).

A two-week immersive language program coordinated by George Mason’s Global Education Office (GEO) and USFQ, students attended daily classes in Spanish, lived with host families, and visited many historical and cultural sites around Quito. Dr. Carrie Bonilla, Term Assistant Professor of Hispanic Linguistics in the Modern & Classical Languages Department, was the Faculty Director for the 2018 Winter Break trip.
