CHIN 202 - K01: Intermediate Chinese II

This course is a sequel to Intermediate Chinese I. It will continue to focus on oral proficiency in daily communication and essential social interactions in Chinese, on the expansion of both oral and written vocabulary, and on the competent usage of Chinese idiomatic expressions and grammatical structures.  It will cover Lesson 11-Lesson 15 of the main textbook, Integrated Chinese. The course focuses on developing the four basic skills in language necessary to communicate with native Mandarin Chinese speakers—listening, speaking, reading, and writing.  In addition, authentic text or audiovisual materials are used to enhance the development of communication skills.
