The 2012 Polyglot Performances, a warm-up event of International Week, is a showcase of student performances celebrating linguistic diversity and multicultural understanding. This year's event features
performances in six languages, door prize drawings, and refreshments.

Opening remarks by Professor Dee Ann Holisky at 5:00PM

PART I (approx. 5:05 PM - 6:15 PM)

  • The German play Kleider machen Leute: Clothes Make People
  • Russian poetry and songs “Spring, Love, Moscow Nights”
  • Arabic skit 1
  • The Korean film A Love Triangle

INTERMISSION: door prize drawing & refreshments

PART II (approx. 6:30 PM - 7:35 PM)

  • Arabic skit 2
  • Chinese poetry and songs
  • The Japanese play Kintaro: The Golden Boy
