Section Information for Fall 2025

  • This is a course for non-native speakers of Korean at the intermediate-high to low-advanced level. Students who are taking or have taken KORE 301 will be the ideal target of this course.
  • Students will learn daily expressions that appear in Korean dramas, and will create their own Korean Drama as their term project as a team.
  • If you're a native speaker of Korean, do not take this course and enroll in the K02 section instead. 

     

This section is for international students who are non-native speakers of Korean. If you are a native speaker of Korean, please take KORE 321 K02.

Develops Intermediate-high level Korean reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills while increasing understanding of Korean culture through authentic Korean visual culture such as films, TV dramas, commercials, and music videos. Students who complete the course will gain an understanding of local and global Korean visual culture as well as acquire upper level Korean linguistic proficiency. Offered by Modern & Classical Languages. May be repeated within the degree for a maximum 6 credits.
Recommended Prerequisite: KORE 202, appropriate placement score, or permission of instructor.
