This course explores the Korean language at the intermediate level. Students should have taken Korean 201 to take this course. In this course, students will learn the basic communication skills necessary to engage in daily conversations and learn more complicated grammar including verbal connective, causal connective, adjectives, command, comparison, negation, suggestion, and obligation form. In addition, students will be improving their reading and writing skills although the class is more focused on speaking and listening skills. In addition to language, students will learn about the daily cultural practices in Korea through the textbook and other materials provided by the instructor. The course will engage in video clips that will help students understand the context where the key expressions are used as well as the cultural context. As a class project, students will work on a video project where they can write their script and practice until they sound natural. The class will be taught in Korean.
