Major works of Enlightenment, Sturm und Drang, Classicism, and early Romanticism. Emphasizes drama and poetry by Goethe and Schiller, with additional works by Lessing, Kleist, and other important writers of the era. Limited to three attempts.
Recommended Prerequisite: 15 hours of GERM or Permission of Instructor. Must have satisfactorily completed GERM 440 or 441.
