Introduces German cinema from the early twentieth century to the present, examining films in their historical and cultural contexts. Analyzes key cinematic devices—including mise-en-scène, camera work, editing, sound, narrative structure, and symbolism—to understand how form shapes meaning. Develops visual literacy and critical film analysis skills. Offered by Modern & Classical Languages. Limited to three attempts.
