Jee Hean Bang received her MFA from Pratt Institute and then a second master’s degree, a M.Ed., from George Mason University. Her specialty is in teaching culturally linguistically diverse and exceptional learners of Korean language. She was born in Seoul, Korea. As a native Korean, she has been teaching Korean Language, Korean Art Seminar, and History to college students for more than a decade in both the U.S. and Korea. She taught Basic and Intermediate Korean language at William Paterson University for three years, and she has been teaching Elementary Korean, Introduction to Korean, and the Advanced Korean Language and Culture Course at George Mason University since 2018. She taught college students in Korea for eight years, as well. Her current interests in research include the application of technology tools to develop new methods for effective language teaching in blended/online learning environments.
