What Can I Do With a Degree in Languages and Linguistics?

About These Numbers

This pie chart shows the career outcomes for majors in Languages and Linguistics, ages 27-67.  We use these ages to show where majors end up, rather than initial jobs out of college. Note, however, that these percentages are a snapshot of people at different career stages.  Source and notes: American Community Survey (ACS), 2010 - 2012, holders of at least a BA, ages 27-66, in the following ACS 2010-2012 degree fields: Linguistics and Foreign Languages; Linguistics and Comparative Language and Literature; French, German, Latin and Other Common Foreign Language Studies; and Other Foreign Languages.
