Study Abroad Merit Scholarship
(for Majors/Minors only)
Application procedure
Applications will be reviewed twice yearly: in April (for students studying abroad in Summer, Fall, or Year-long programs), and in November (for students studying abroad in Winter or Spring programs). Interested students should submit a completed application form, together with 1) an unofficial transcript, 2) a sealed letter of recommendation, and 3) a 500-word essay (in English) describing their interest in and goals for study abroad.

Application deadline:
For Summer, Fall and year-long programs: April 15.
For Winter and Spring programs: November 15.
If the deadline falls on a weekend, or a day when the university is closed, materials will be accepted until the first day after the deadline in which the University is open. All materials must be received by 5:00 pm on the day of the deadline.
